Tucker is a 3-year old Terrier mix weighing in at 14 pounds. He loves to sit in laps, whether that's on a couch, at a table, or desk. If he can't get into your lap, he will lay at your feet or close by you. Tucker is good with other animals and likes his foster family's Border Collie. They enjoy chasing each other around the living room and playing keep away. He is very quiet in the house, unless we are playing. Tucker does not bark when we take walks and seems to be leashed trained. He is house broken and sleeps in a kennel at night. He is also kenneled while we are out of the house and doesn't make a sound until we let him out. Tucker is a little skittish when he first meets people. If you raise your hand over him or try to grab him, he will cower down and try to get as small as possible. It is because of these actions that we think that Tucker had a hard past. But, he has never snapped or even growled at anyone. He simply lays down and waits to see if it is safe. Tucker would probably do best in a house with older, considerate children. He likes riding in the car and is patient. Our favorite thing about Tucker is how sweet he is. He is such a loving and loyal pup. You can tell that he is looking for someone to give him unconditional love and support.
