Hi! My name is Goose! I’m a middle aged German Shepherd Dog looking for a great home! I’m a very happy pup, I can be nervous when I first meet you but I warm up to people quickly. I really like cuddles and someone who wants to give me all of the attention. I LOVE ball, it’s my absolute favorite thing although I will play fetch with anything but balls are my absolute favorite, so much so my foster mom doesn’t let me keep them in the house because I constantly want her to play with them. I play well with big dogs and although I want the cat to be my friend, I don’t bother him. I also like to watch the horses run around the pasture but I don’t bother them either. I haven’t been exposed to small dogs or young kids but sometimes I do jump for attention so I’m probably better suited for families without young kids. I’m a very active guy and I love taking walks and long hikes. I still need work with crate training, while I tolerate it it’s definitely not my favorite thing. I have been fine being crated while my foster mom and dad are at work but I will chew things up if they are in or near my crate. I don’t love loud noises and I am best for a gentle hand when it comes to discipline. We are still working on basic commands but I catch on really quick! I was found on I-75 and was believed to be an outdoor pet, so we are still working on potty training but I haven’t had an accident in weeks! I really do want to be the best boy, I just need someone to help me get there!
