Roxanne is an incredibly sweet husky mix who adores anyone who is willing to pet her. This stunning girl has an adorable white heart on her backside to match her big heart on the inside. She is mostly potty trained and does well in a crate but mostly loves to be with people. For such an energetic pup, she has wonderful manners and is very good about sitting to get attention. She initially pulls enthusiastically at the beginning of walks but settles into walking beside you after some treats and head-pats to guide her. Roxanne is "gently mouthy" in that she never bites but does like to greet hands with an open mouth and plenty of kisses. She is a terrific running and hiking buddy and would love another active dog to run and play with or an active family to take her on adventures with them. While Roxanne is gentle with cats young and old, she does yearn to play with them and would be best with dog-tolerant kitties. Although she behaves well in a home and is more "bouncy-happy" than a jumper, Roxanne may do best with kids 5+yrs who can help be positive leaders during her hyper moments. She is great about sharing her toys and is very easily redirected if she gets curious about other things lying around. Roxanne is learning to fetch, is eager to please you and learn new things, and does well on car rides. Her foster family adores her and considers her the ultimate cuddler with potential as a therapy dog after a little more training. You have GOT to meet her!
