Big Ben is a gigantic, loving, mitted tabby. "Biggun," as he's affectionately been nicknamed, will head bonk his humans and other cats before loving on them, but be warned: it's kind of like getting hit in the head with a softball because he doesn't realize what a Biggun he is! Big Ben is skittish around tiny foster kittens and is shy to mix with multiple new cats at once, but will certainly warm up to them when given a chance to meet them one at a time. Big Ben travels very well in a crate, rather than a carrier, as his foster family discovered on a recent trip to St. Louis for Christmas, but he is consistently timid about meeting new people and tends to hide from small children. Since he's gotten more comfortable in his foster home, Big Ben has begun vocalizing with quiet meows and purrs; he's really starting to relax up to his surroundings to show what a love bug he is. Big Ben enjoys snuggling at the foot of your bed at night, so he'd be a great addition to your household this winter, especially if your feet tend to get cold!
