Rue is a sophisticated young lady who hasn’t decided if she wants to bother herself with all the other critters in the house at the moment.  Rue prefers to keep her distance from the other animals and will hiss and swat if they get too close, but doesn’t go after to attack.  At less than a year of age Rue found herself in the shelter with her one surviving kitten.  Rue could still use some good groceries to put on a few pounds and help fill out her coat.  Rue does chirp and purr when her foster mom walks in the room where she is and enjoys a good pet, but prefers not to be held.  Time will tell Rue’s true personality, but there is a good likelihood she will calm down and become more social with other cats.

Prior to being placed up for adoption, all cats (5 months and older), at minimum, receive a veterinary exam and are neutered/spayed, tested negative for FeLuk/FIV, microchipped, current on booster(s) and Rabies vaccination, de-wormed, and flea treated, and checked and treated for ear mites if needed.
