Alpha is a good name for this kitten as he is a bold kitten who wants to be in charge.  He was the only kitten in his litter to test positive for Feline Leukemia so it may be a false positive.  So far he is healthy.  He will be re-tested in mid December.  In the meantime he is neutered and available for adoption with the adoption fee waived.   He will be a foster to adopt kitten until he is six months old so we can cover his medical costs until then.  If he remains positive we will cover any vet expenses related to feline leukemia for life.  He must be an only cat or he can be in a home with other positive cats like Uma.  All feline leukemia positive cats must be indoor only.  If you would like more information about adopting a feline leukemia positive cat from SCHS, put in an online application for Alpha and we will contact you.

We would love to hear from you! To inquire about this cat, please contact us via this site, visit sc4paws.rescuegroups.org/forms/ to fill out our adoption application, or call 502-863-3279. **Important: Our cats are in foster homes. Please contact us if you would like to meet one of these special kitties.
