Balto, aka our wolf/arctic fox look alike, is such a precious boy! When he came to the humane society, he was in very rough shape. If you would like a full list of his health history, as long as he has been in the HS's care, just let us know. Lucky for him, hes feeling a ton better!! Still taking a couple antibiotics, but overall healthy and ready for his furever home. He had noncontagious mange when he was found, but it is getting better and his hair is growing back. Now that he's feeling up to speed, he has plenty of energy to play with other dogs or older/considerate kids. We know that he has had at least one seizure, but all blood work has come back normal and we are told by vets he should still lead a normal life. He is for the most part house trained. He knows he needs to potty outside, just learning how to hold it when not in the crate. Balto loves to dance for treats, snuggle on the couch, and play with humans or other dogs. He deserves a loving owner who will take care of him and provide a safe healthy environment. Are you that person??

Our pets are fostered in volunteers' homes, not at a shelter facility. If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, please fill out one of our dog adoption applications ( www.sc4paws.org/forms)  and an adoption counselor will contact you with more details and to schedule a meet and greet. We do adopt out of state. Dogs/puppies are already neutered/spayed, temperament tested, microchipped, current on all vaccines, tested for heartworms and Lyme disease, and treated for internal parasites and flea/tick preventative  prior to adoption.
