Champ is a champion couch potato who also enjoys the occasional run around the neighborhood. He's a sweet boy who loves petting, treats, and keeping an eye on the world out the window. He's had some basic training and can sit on command. He is also housebroken and crate trained. In fact, he's quite fond of his crate and prefers to be there when he's resting or napping. He's done very well with his foster dog siblings and has been a gentle giant with the kids. He does seem to have some food aggression with other dogs (though he has not displayed this with the adults or kids in the house) but he loves his crate so much that he happily eats in there. He was surrendered because his family moved into an apartment and was unable to give him the outdoor time he needed. He's a calm dog but he would be happiest if he either had access to a yard or someone who would walk him at least once a day.

Adoption fee: $200 (includes 6% State Sales Tax)

Our pets are fostered in volunteers' homes, not at a shelter facility. If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, please fill out one of our dog adoption applications ( www.sc4paws.org/forms)  and an adoption counselor will contact you with more details and to schedule a meet and greet. We do adopt out of state. Dogs/puppies are already neutered/spayed, temperament tested, microchipped, current on all vaccines, tested for heartworms and Lyme disease, and treated for internal parasites and flea/tick preventative  prior to adoption.
