Lemonade is around a year old and 51 lbs.  Originally thought to be Pit/Shepherd mix because of the squarish head, she is showing more signs of Boxer than Pit.  For instance, she makes a sound in her throat when she's happy that sounds like a growl but is her trying to talk.  She sometimes snores like a Boxer and runs like a deer.  She's been living as a stray for about a year, depending on a couple of houses to leave out food. She has been interacting with them when they are out and is very friendly.  After eating, she would disappear until the next mealtime.   She stayed outside for several days at the fosters', but is now coming inside and seems to love being inside with the family and other dogs.  However, she does occasionally meet a dog that she feels threatened by and will get defensive.  She loves playing with the 3 lb foster puppy and the other dogs that are around 17 lbs.  She is very gentle with them and with people, including kids.  She is gentle and loving and loves to be loved.  She has not had any accidents in the house since she first started coming in.  She knows some commands and picks up quickly for treats.  She is not a barker or doesn't chew.  She will stay in her crate when needed.
