Ben is a 1 yr old neutered male mixed breed.  House-broken, sleeps in crate at night, good on leash.  Ben is more on the submissive side, with a gentle personality.  He loves to run outdoors, play frisbee, play with other dogs and cats.  He quietly accepts bathing and loves to be groomed with a hand mitt.  He will chase birds, if possible. He alerts us to visitors by growling or barking.  When able to greet visitors, rather than aggressiveness, he tries to get attention by licking or prancing around or he retreats.  Ben is used to living with family 24/7, but he does well in his crate or limited area when we leave the house. Ben MUST have either a fenced in yard or freedom to run in the country. He WILL chase birds or any animal, and will not come back when called. Ben does great while walking on a leash. 

Ben is on a antihistamine for his allergies, if he does not take it then he then has a cough, sneezes and itches.
