Jules is a 2 year 9 month old lab/hound/great dane mix. She’s a super sweet, laid back girl! At 80 pounds, Jules is a big girl, but she’s extremely friendly with people (including kids) and good with other dogs. She loves walks, treats and playtime in the fenced backyard, but the rest of the time she’s content to curl up for a nice long nap. Jules was emaciated and malnourished when she was found wondering on the side of the highway as a stray, but she’s since gained weight and is in great health. She’s fully vaccinated and spayed. The vet says she’s a gentle giant. Her foster mom has spoiled her with a lot of love, dog training sessions and the best bones and chew toys. Jules is house trained and crate trained. Jules is still in dog training and working to learn more but she’s smart and receptive to training. Her foster mom says she’s made a lot of progress with her separation anxiety but she’s still skiddish with loud noises, thunderstorms and bbq grills. Jules likes car rides, walks in the neighborhood (we use the walk n train/gentle leader harness), and the dog park. She doesn’t jump on people and won’t cover you with kisses, but she does love a good snuggle on the couch and likes to be near her people. Jules is gentle with people but she cannot live with cats or birds because she’s a hunting dog at heart.
