Meet Prince he is estimated to be 9 years old by our vet.  He loves the companionship of people.  What he really longs for is to be by your side.  He came to the county shelter as a stray.  He had mats in his furr, and not many teeth left.  He walks heavy and at times his back legs hip area will give out if he turns too fast etc.  The vet said he has decreased muscle mass in his back legs.  It doesn’t slow him down much.  He can still jump to get where he wants as high as about 3 feet.  Sometimes however he does miss and fall.  Due to this i let his nails grow so he can help to use them to climb if needed.  He doesn’t use them to claw anything.  Since I’ve let them grow out he’s fallen less.  He will need brushing to help him maintain his coat.  He also gets wet food due to not having many teeth but will snack on dry.  He loves to be held.  He tolerates other cats.  Is a little hissy at first, just not interested in companionship from them or to play.  He does show interest in outside but I keep him in.  But could see he would enjoy some supervised patio time.  He enjoys sitting in the window.  This sweet guy is just really looking for his sole mate to live out his golden years being spoiled rotten.  Hurry and complete your application for this sweet boy today!!
