Cassie is about a year and a half old. She has raised her rambunctious kittens and is now looking for a home of her own. Cassie loves attention and will meow asking you to come hold her and pet her. She also has bright, golden eyes that we can't quite capture in a picture well. She is active and playful still and likes toys. She also likes to lounge in a window or nap on the bed. This young beauty will likely do well with kids and will make herself comfortable in any home - whether its bustling with activity or quite like a library.

Cassie is living in a foster home with other cats and a dog, but we think she would prefer to be an only pet. She isn't really a fan of the cats and hasn't made her mind up on the dog yet. In a previous foster home, she got along with the dachshund there, but this larger (50 lb) dog makes her a little nervous.

Prior to being placed up for adoption, all cats (5 months and older), at minimum, receive a veterinary exam and are neutered/spayed, tested negative for FeLuk/FIV, microchipped, current on booster(s) and Rabies vaccination, de-wormed, and flea treated, and checked and treated for ear mites if needed.
