Sugar Man is named after Sixto Rodriguez also known as Sugar Man.  His litter mates were Sixto (who has six toes) and Rodriguez.  If you don't know who the Sugar Man is, you should listen to Sixto's albums or watch the movie Searching for Sugar Man.  He was also picked to be Sugar Man because he really does look like someone sprinkled sugar on him.  Sugar Man is all boy and loves to run and play but can be affectionate too and will give you some sugar.  He gets along great with the other cats and the friendly dog in his foster home.

Prior to being placed up for adoption, all cats (5 months and older), at minimum, receive a veterinary exam and are neutered/spayed, tested negative for FeLuk/FIV, microchipped, current on booster(s) and Rabies vaccination, de-wormed, and flea treated, and checked and treated for ear mites if needed.
