Poor Smokey has had a rough life.  Although we’re not quite sure, the injuries suggest he was kicked by livestock at the farm where he lived.   He suffered some major trauma with a broken jaw and he had to have one eye removed.  He is on the mend now and is eating regular food.  While he is not fond of being picked up and carried around, if you invite him into your lap, he never stops purring and rubbing on you.  He’s quite the lap kitty!    He is still getting acquainted with the dogs and other cats in his foster home but we think he will be fine around them once he has had time for a proper introduction.  Can you give this special boy the safe secure home he needs?
