Chip
My name is Chip and I am a very young 8 year old chihuahua mix.  Some people say I remind them of Yoda from Star Wars.  I am quite adorable, if I must say so myself.  I have a condition called alopecia, which has caused me to lose a lot of my hair, especially on my back.  I feel soft, because I am mostly skin.  It does not bother me, if it does not bother you!  Sometimes I need to wear a sweater when it is cold.

I love to go outside and check out the world.
I also love to stay inside with my people and lounge around on a soft bed, with some covers I can bury myself in.  I get along fine with other dogs, like to bark at the bigger ones, so they understand, I am the boss!  I am a lover, not a fighter, but I will protect my home from invaders, so, if someone new decides to just walk in my house, I may have to nip their ankles to protect my turf and its people.  I get in trouble for this, but they figured out the best idea is to just pick me up, so I know everything is okay and then I will charm their guests with my sweetness instead of biting them.  A real burglar would not stand a chance against my guarding though!  

I am an older guy, but young at heart and promise you will fall in love with me.   My foster family thinks I am the bomb, but they already have 4 dogs and know I will be a great fit in another home, so I trust they are right.

I hope my new home finds me soon...
But until then, I am in a good place waiting for them to find out how cool it would be to become my people.  Oh yeah, I also do fine with cats, since they have a mom and kittens here too.  This place is getting to be a zoo!
And I like the 3 year old boy who seems to practically live here with his grandmother.
