Buddy is a 5 year old retriever mixed with some great pyrenees. He is very loving and cuddly for a 100 lb dog.  He is still very playful and needs a home with a nice fenced in backyard for him to roam about in. Buddy LOVES kids, and can be a little over protective of his humans. He is quite the alpha dog, and does have a bit of food aggression; he will need a home that is willing to work with him, especially if it is around other animals. He is not food aggressive toward his humans. He likes to play with other dogs, but if he feels threatened he can get defensive quickly with other animals to let them know he is in charge. Buddy is not fully crate trained but is working towards it; he will need a home that has patience with him and will help him learn the ropes of being a good indoor boy. Because of Buddy’s nature, we suggest he have a home with minimal other pets and preferably no cats. If you give this amazing boy a shot, you won’t regret it, he will show you unconditional love for the rest his doggy life.
