Oscar is a very timid cat that came to the shelter as a stray and is ear tipped. We believe he has always lived outside and was likely fixed in a tnr clinic somewhere. He will hide when you approach him, but once you have spent some time with him will come to kitty kitty and encouraging pets. He is litter box trained and an easy house guest. But likely would enjoy having the freedom of being outside again. We are seeking a nice barn home for him. One he can have some warm shelter and someone to make sure he’s fed and well looked after. He could be an inside cat too for someone that understands he would need lots of patience but would need to have no small children as they likely would scare him. His fur on his back is still growing in from a skin infection we believe he had before being brought to the shelter. Initial meet and greets with a couple calm cats have went well, he sniffed at them or just did a hiss or low growl. We haven’t tried him around dogs yet. Would you have a nice place for Oscar to live, complete your application today! Adoption fee: $40.00
