Lucy is a happy little girl!! She enjoys playing with other dogs and loves being one of the pack. She also wants to be right beside her person. Lucy has a beautiful face and soulful eyes that make you wonder what she is thinking. She is fairly slow moving and docile, but likes to play with other dogs and toys. She is very gentle.  Lucy is very smart.    She can figure out how to open doors and knock tops off of cans with her food in it.   Surely, all of this intelligence could be channeled by the right trainer/owner.    Lucy seems to have learned house training in just a couple of days.     She is very loving and wants to be with her person, loves sleeping in the bed, if allowed.    She is very ingenious and finds ways to get where she wants to be, so if something is off limits, it will have to be clearly unreachable.    Lucy is still a puppy at heart and will need toys to chew on, she has run off with shoes a few times.    We estimate Lucy to be about 1 1/2 years old.    She is very soft and does not have the Bassett Hound characteristic smell, so if you love Bassett Hounds, she has all the characteristics, less the smell.    I say that is probably a good thing.    Could Lucy find a home with you?
